Heather Cosby, MSW, LCSW
Heather Cosby is a Missouri licensed clinical social worker who has over 6 years
experience working with child victims of abuse. As a private practitioner, Mrs.
Cosby focuses on helping children heal from abuse, primarily focusing on child sexual
abuse victims. Heather also works with children and their parents to work on behavioral
problems.
Heather has experience working in a variety of different settings including a residential
treatment program and several nonprofit organizations providing therapy and other
services to child victims and their families. She also has spent several years educating
parents, children, childcare providers, and social service professionals on recognition
of child abuse and mandated reporting.
Heather received a bachelor degree in both psychology and sociology at the University
of Missouri-Columbia as well as earning an honors certificate. She continued her
education at the University of Missouri-St. Louis by earning a Masters degree in
Social Work.
